Image depicts candid photo of unscheduled, barefoot kids in a yard using their imaginations and found objects to invent some kind of engineered delivery system with caption, "Kids aren’t learning-averse.
Kids aren’t work-averse.
Kids are control-averse.
They struggle in American schools because American culture has, naturally, generated a control valuing institution rather than a human valuing institution.
When you give kids time, space, and the same freedom every other animal on Earth is born to inhabit, you get discoverers.
When you shove kids into an education system required to submit to a society built on and held together by bayonets, whips, cannons, lynch-knots, nuclear bombs, assault rifles, and an unparalleled industrial prison complex, you get kindergartners cowering under desks."
